Here are some photos I took in August during my visit to the Turkish Islamic Center in Sunnyside, Queens:
The assignment was to create a audio slideshow of a process. My partner, Mustafa, and I chose to document the preparation of Iftar and the breaking of the fast. Truly eye-opening.
